Cantor Jeri Robins works as a Cantor and Educator in the Greater Boston area. Currently, she is the Cantor at Beth El Temple Center in Belmont and the Director of Education at Temple Chayai Shalom in Easton, Massachusetts, as well as teaching at Temple Ohabei Shalom in Brookline. In addition, she tutors private B’nei Mitzvah students and officiates at life cycle events, including baby namings, Bar/Bat Mitzvah services, weddings, funerals and unveilings.
Previously, she served as the Director of BJEP, the Boston-area Jewish Education Program, held on the Brandeis campus in Waltham, Massachusetts, served as one of the cantors at Congregation Mishkan Tefila in Brookline, and taught 6th grade at Temple Beth Zion. She was also the Cantor at Congregation Beth Israel in Worcester, Massachusetts and the Cantor and Director of Education at Temple Beth Shalom in Peabody, on Boston’s North Shore (now called Temple Tiferet Shalom). She received her Cantorial Ordination and Master’s degree in Jewish Education from Hebrew College (Newton, Massachusetts) in June, 2013.
Whether on the pulpit or in the classroom, working with an individual student preparing to become a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, or teaching a group of children or adults, Cantor Robins loves sharing her passion and enthusiasm. Hard-working and energetic, she strives to inspire a strong sense of Jewish identity and values.
Her voice has been characterized as very versatile and her range spans accessible keys so that the congregation can easily join with her in song and worship to more contemplative recitatives that allow people to sit back and take in the music.

Thank you for having this here. I was just asked today to read the first Aliyah for Rosh Hashanah and I only have 2 weeks to learn the part. I find your “repeat after me” easy to follow. I wish I could download it to my MP3 player though so I could practice it away from my computer.
I’m a Beth Israel member. Your voice and resume are excellent. We listened to the 3rd and 4th candidates last week and yesterday. Each candidate has been excellent. I have no doubt that Cantor Eisenberg will have an impressive successor. All the best to you no matter who the search committee chooses
Jeri I’m listening to your beautiful Kol Nidre and it’s beautiful as always
